Where does your tour begin?
We will pick you up in our van at your place of accommodation in Asheville, North Carolina.
What should I wear?
Please wear closed toed shoes, hiking boots, or sneakers. Comfortable clothing.
Do you hike in rainy weather?
Yes, we go rain or shine. .
What about bathrooms?
There are bathrooms along the way and we will make additional rest room stops if needed.
What is the minimum number of people that you will take on a tour?
The minimum required for the half-day waterfall excursion is 2 people and the maximum is 8.
Should I bring something to drink or eat?
We will provide you with a variety of drinks and snacks. If you have dietary preferences, please bring them along.
How long will we be gone?
Our half-day excursions last approximately 5 hours . It takes approximately 45 minutes to get to our location.
How difficult are the hikes to the waterfalls?
Easy to moderate and you will hike approximately 3 miles (over the course of the entire tour). We will be driving to different locations and walking a short distance to the waterfalls. Our goal is to have a fun and relaxing day, this is not an endurance test! Our guide is a seasoned outdoorsman and hospitality professional. What about safety?
Waterfalls are beautiful, however they can be dangerous. Never climb or slide on waterfalls, or swim, wade or play in the water above a waterfall. It is easy to underestimate the slickness of rocks and the strong flow of water. Observe from a safe distance is the best policy.
