We will pick you up in our van at your place of accommodation within 4 miles of Asheville City Center. We can also easily arrange a central meeting place and time if you are outside that area.

Please wear closed toed shoes, hiking boots, or sneakers. Comfortable clothing. Bring a small pack pack if you have one.

Yes, we go rain or shine. We do keep our eye on the weather and in the unlikely event that we need to cancel, we will contact you to see if you can reschedule. You might consider booking the tour on the first day of your stay so you can possibly be re booked in the event of cancellation.

There are bathrooms along the way and we will make additional rest room stops if needed.

The minimum required for the half-day waterfall excursion is 2 people and the maximum is 7.

We will provide you with a variety of drinks and snacks. If you have dietary preferences, please bring them along.

Our half-day excursions last approximately 4 1/2 -5 hours . It takes approximately 45 – 1 hour minutes to get to our first waterfall location.

Easy to moderate and you will hike approximately 3 miles (over the course of the entire tour). We walk about 1 1/2 miles per hour. We will be driving to different locations and walking a short distance to the waterfalls. Our goal is to have a fun and relaxing day! Our guide is a seasoned outdoorsman and hospitality professional. Waterfalls are beautiful, however they can be dangerous. Never climb or slide on waterfalls, or swim, wade or play in the water above a waterfall. It is easy to underestimate the slickness of rocks and the strong flow of water. Observe from a safe distance is the best policy.
